My love of technology started because of my dad, who was an electronic engineer. Some of my earliest memories are sitting beside him soldering circuits when I was only four years old. We were always taking things apart to see how they worked and building them back together.
I still remember getting our first Windows 95 computer. It completely fascinated me. By the age of sixteen I'd built my own PC, and technology has always been my biggest passion.
Over the years I learnt networking, Wi-Fi and data cabling, making my own Ethernet cables and always keeping up with the latest technology.
When my wife and I bought our first home, the smart home obsession really began.
After years of testing different smart switches, cameras, Home Assistant, Apple Home, Alexa and networking equipment, I've learnt what genuinely works in UK homes.
I'm a geek... but not like you think. I explain technology in plain English and build smart homes that simply work.
